Pans in Hestan's Probond Luxe range are premium tri-ply stainless steel cookware. Made in Italy, they feature three layers of metal, with a thick core of aluminium that makes heat conductivity 35% faster than most other tri-ply pans. Built to withstand temperatures up to 316ºC, these pans are oven and grill-safe and induction-compatible, making it easy to transfer from stove to oven. The ergonomic handles feature a vent that keeps them comparatively cool on the hob, and are seamlessly joined to the pan to eliminate a crevice where dirt can get trapped. This Essential Pan, also known as a curved splayed saute pan, or saucier, is a great all-purpose pan. The versatile size and curved shape of the pan make it great for sautéing, frying, and reducing liquids, making it an ideal pan for cooking stews, risottos, curries, and sauces and more. The mirror-polished finish makes it easy to clean but also makes it ideal as an oven-to-table piece.
